Parsley - Moss Curled - Petroselinum crispum
A common, but early parsley. It is a compact plant with very curly leaves that resemble moss. The leaves become bitter as soon as they bloom. Parsley is used for soups, salads and as a garnish. Parsley contains large amounts of vitamins A and C. To achieve the best germination, freeze the seeds for 3-5 days, after which they are placed in warm water for 8 hours before sowing. The seeds are covered as darkness promotes germination.
